Abstract

Archives Artificial Intelligence or Cybernetics Library Technology
This presentation explores the utilization of an Artificial Intelligence (AI) software, Generative Pre-trained Transformers (GPT), for meta-analysis of research studies. Six GPTs, including one customized tool, interrogated a research paper on the use of AI in enhancing access to the Meiji-era William Elliot Griffis collection at Rutgers University Libraries (Yaco et al.). The interrogation related to the paper’s findings and methodology, evaluating the responses for accuracy and value to authors.
