Abstract

We present new results on the temperature-dependent collision-induced low-frequency Raman spectrum of the spherical top molecule CCl4, obtained using optical-heterodyne-detected, femtosecond Fourier-transform Raman-induced Kerr-effect spectroscopy. A spectral shift to lower frequencies with increasing temperatures has been observed.
