Abstract

Internet Technology--History History of Technology Radio
In its time, radio was a radical new technology. Radio's technological development, the speculation about its impact, and its ultimate use as a communications tool show striking parallels to the rise of the Internet. This paper traces these parallels and develops insight into the factors that shape the development and use of new communication technologies.
