Abstract

Analysis Income Income distribution Models Research Social networks Socialism
The relationship between social network resources and earnings inequalities in Hungary from 1986 to 1987 was investigated. Social networks were defined as formal and informal depending on their ties and interaction to other organizations. The findings suggest that formal and informal ties existed in both the state and non-state sectors. Furthermore, the results indicate that income inequality in both state and non-state level were positively affected by social network resources.
