Now more than ever, identifying high-quality industry certifications is important for learners. Guided by the EERC non-degree credential quality framework, the brief reviews existing evidence on industry certifications from the existing research literature and current policy and practice. Based on this review, the brief offers guidance on identifying high-quality industry certifications, and guidance to states and other entities on processes for identifying high-quality industry certifications.
