Abstract

Food Safety
This report presents the results of two studies: 1) A survey of a representative sample of 1,002 US adults drawn from the KnowledgePanel maintained by GFK Custom Research. Participants had purchased or had received raw meat, poultry, seafood, or game products sold by vendors online and shipped by FedEx, UPS, the US Mail Service, or other delivery services. 2) An audit of the food safety information provided in the shipping containers associated with delivered orders of raw meat, poultry, game, and seafood products from 160 vendors.
